Joey was born in Long Island, NY and later moved to Peoria, AZ where he grew up and went to high school. Shortly after graduating he made the move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film. After 2 long years of unpaid internships, he finally emailed every single producer on LA411.com asking for any paid work in film production. Out of 300 emails, 10 producers responded and 2 gave him a chance to work as a production assistant on a commercial. Joey immediately quit his full time job selling area rugs at The Great Indoors and made the jump into the freelance world. That was 2010. Now Joey is living out the dream of being a full time Line Producer. With only 2 years under his belt, he’s already achieved so much. Most recently he won an Emmy for producing the web series “Little Los Angeles” with Anthony Bourdain and Director Kate Kunath. While the majority of productions Joey produces are TV commercials, he is very excited to continue to branch out into docu-style non fiction work, as well as feature films in the near future.
